    Angrezi Medium Movie Review

Born and raised in Rajasthan, Udaipur, the Champak world revolves around the day-to-day confrontation with his other Ghashitaram brother Gopi Deepak Dobriyal and his only daughter Tariqa, who is about to graduate high school and embark on another educational journey. But, unlike her father, she does not want to limit her dreams to the place where she grew up; Instead, she wants to explore what is outside her small world. Unaware of what lies ahead, Champak meets his daughter's wishes, but things start to get out of hand when she has to pay a high fee. A devoted father, Champak pledges to do whatever it takes to send his daughter to study abroad, and not only proves his unconditional love for his 'betrayal' but also walks the path of redefining their relationship.

Homi Adazania’s Angrizi Medium is an obsession for young people to pursue further studies abroad and touches on their family’s willingness to embrace every Himalayan obstacle for their loved ones. There are other underlying themes as well, but this is the film's primary theme.

In fact, it is well known that the film was shot while Irrfan was being treated. But, while watching this movie, you can put that idea aside. What you witness on screen is the actor in his element - in every frame. He will take you along… you laugh with him, cry with him, and every time he crosses an obstacle, you rejoice with him. Irfan hesitated life into Champak as no one else could. Walking shoulder to shoulder with him is another good actor, Deepak Dobriyal. His friendship with Irfan is a testament to the fact that they are both polished and well-prepared actors. Radhika Madan, as a mild-mannered and often clueless teenager, breaks off the role, especially in scenes where her moving relationship with her father breaks.

Their chemistry is organic, and the portrayal of their characters feels so real that their ambiguities and internal conflicts begin to resonate. Kiku Sarada, a childhood friend of two brothers, is his usual funny self. Ranveer Shore, Balakrishna 'Bobby' lives as a Tripathi and a perfect NRI dream and serves as the catalyst for moving the plot forward. His description of Bobby comes as a refreshing twist in the storyline, and Shorey does it for his part. Kareena Kapoor Khan has done well in her brief appearance as tough cop Naina and the film is bound to be a mess in the second half. However, the relationship with her mother, Mrs. Kohli (played by Dimple Kapadia), is minimal. It was interesting to see the dynamics of their relationship in the movie.

The look and feel of this comedy-drama are all sweet and small-town - the actors consistently have a thick local accent (although the radical sounds are a bit forced) and much attention has been paid to what we call 'small-town features'. 'As the story progresses, it looks beautiful in multiple scenes and scenes. One step in the homeland and the other in London, the music and the background score reveal two different scenarios; It works well and separates the mood well.

The first half of the screenplay is more appealing than the second, but, when trying to fit in most subplots, the story is very cumbersome. There are some wonderful moments in the film, and the intensely written scenes between the characters also prove to be the highlights of the play. Nevertheless, the story is very comfortable and has overlooked odds, but Irfan's exceptional performance makes it worth watching.

‘Angergy Medium’ loses its grip on many occasions, what it doesn’t lose is the grip on the emotion it tries to bring out and the message it leaves to you.
